Abstract

In July 2013, the Farmers Exchange (NTP) South Kalimantan recorded 105.32, down 0.96 percent from June 2013 to reach NTP 106.34. NTP decline is due to the index of prices received by farmers (It) has increased by 0.50 percent, while the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) experienced a larger increase is 1.47 percent.

Judging from the sub-sectors, two agricultural subsectors decreased NTP and the three subsector increased NTP. Crop sub-sector fell by 1.49 percent, and the Smallholder Crop sub-sector fell by 3.80 percent. Meanwhile, Horticulture sub-sector increased by 0.14 percent NTP, Livestock sub-sector rose by 0.96 percent, and fisheries sub-sector rose by 1.85 percent.

The rise in consumer price index for rural households showed the occurrence of 1.66 per cent in rural areas due to rising inflation index in the subgroup of foodstuff by 2.03 percent, so the food subgroup rose by 0.03 percent, housing subgroup rose by 0.13 percent, subgroup clothing rose by 0.02 per cent, health subgroup rose by 0.68 percent, a subgroup of education, recreation and sport increased by 1.77 percent, and transportation and communications subgroup rose by 7.85 percent.

In July 2013, the National, Riau Islands Province highest NTP increased by 0.69 percent, instead of Jambi Province highest NTP decline of 2.47 percent.
