Abstract

• The star-rated room occupancy rate (TPK) in South Kalimantan in January 2018 was 43.66 percent, down 8.74 points compared to December 2017 of 52.40 percent. Compared to the ROR of January 2017 of 37.44 percent, the ROR in January 2018 rose by 6.22 points.

• The average stay duration (RTLM) of foreign and domestic guests (domestic) at star hotels in January 2018 was 1.53 nights, unchanged. When compared to the same period in the previous year ie January 2017 which was 1.63 nights, RTLM in January 2018 decreased 0.10 nights.

• The number of air passengers departing via airports in South Kalimantan during January 2018 was 172,738 people, down 0.35 percent from last month. The number of sea transport passengers departing through Trisakti Port Banjarmasin in January 2018 as many as 682 people fell 65.45 percent. While the number of goods contained in Trisakti Port in January 2018 amounted to 621,312 tons, an increase of 26.84 percent.
