Abstract

• In January 2019 the South Kalimantan NTP was 95.22, down 0.21 percent compared to the December 2018 NTP which reached 95.43. The decline in NTP was due to the farmers 'accepted price index (It) which rose 0.60 percent less than the increase in farmers' paid price index (Ib) by 0.82 percent.
• In January 2019 in rural areas of South Kalimantan experienced inflation of 1.02 percent, where the price index of the entire group increased by around 0.21 - 1.77 percent.
• The exchange rate of South Kalimantan Household Agriculture Business (NTUP) in January 2019 was 103.75 or increased by 0.37 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month which reached 103.36.
• The average grain price of Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) quality at the farm level rose 7.64 percent, from Rp 5,156.69 per kg in December 2018 to Rp 5,550.75 per kg in January 2019. Likewise the price of grain in the milling rate rose 7.47 percent from Rp 5,250.21 per kg in December 2018 to Rp 5,642.60 per kg in January 2019.
