Abstract

• The economy of South Kalimantan in the second quarter of 2019 was measured by the size of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) reaching Rp 45.09 trillion.

• The economy of South Kalimantan in the second quarter of 2019 compared to the same period the previous year (y-on-y) grew by 4.24 percent.

• Meanwhile, when compared with the previous quarter (q-to-q), the economy of South Kalimantan in quarter II-2019 rose 7.22 percent.

• The cumulative development until the second quarter of 2019 (c-to-c) grew 4.18 percent.

• From the production side, on a y-on-y basis the second quarter of 2019 the category that experienced the highest growth was the category of government administration, defense, and mandatory social security (8.87 percent). Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the PKRT component contributed 1.73 percent.
